Dress Rehearsal for Calamity

HELEN M. NICHOLSON, Editor0

Casualty Simulation

This article describes the foundation and development of Casualties Union. It emphasizes that the skill of the trained Casualties Union member is his ability to react to treatment in the same way as a real casualty would react. A case is put that the standard of first-aid training can only be raised to really useful levels if training is carried out on trained casualties and trained casualties are used for examination purposes.
