Cysticercosis-induced Epilepsy Diagnosed by Computerized Tomography

S.E. PRIESTLEY and P.G. WILES

Altrincham General Hospital Altrincham, Cheshire

A case of late onset epilepsy, believed to be secondary to cerebral cysticercosis, is reported. The case illustrates the use of computerized tomography in diagnosis and, as cysticercosis is an occupational disease of soldiers who have served in India and the Far East, raises the question of eligibility for a war pension.

Dr S. E. Priestley, Altrincham General Hospital, Altrincham, Cheshire.
