Investigation and Prevention of Chromate Dermatitis in Colour Television Manufacture

Twenty cases of occupational dermatitis occurred in a factory manufacturing television tubes. The major cause was sensitivity to ammonium bichromate. Steps taken to minimize exposure to the chemical by improved technology resulted in the problem being overcome.
